Web developer in Rabat

Farouk Manar is an independent designer and full-stack web developer based in Casablanca who works with organisations in Rabat. He builds accessible, multilingual websites and custom web applications for institutions, consultancies, schools and associations, collaborating remotely day to day and travelling to Rabat for workshops when the project calls for it.

As Morocco’s capital, Rabat is home to the government, ministries, parliament, embassies and a range of national institutions and international organisations. Their audiences are broad: citizens, partners, journalists and foreign delegations, often reading in different languages. A website here has to be clear before it is clever, with a structure that makes information easy to find and pages that work for everyone, including on modest connections and with assistive technologies.

Around these institutions sits a dense ecosystem of consultancies, law and audit firms, training centres, universities and associations, along with technology companies in the Rabat–Salé area. Many of them need more than a brochure site: member areas, event registrations, publication libraries or internal dashboards. I design these as maintainable systems, with content tools your team can actually update without calling a developer for every change.

Rabat is a short train ride from Casablanca, where I’m based. Most work runs remotely, through a shared roadmap, regular video reviews and staging links your stakeholders can comment on. When a project involves several departments or a formal validation process, I can come to Rabat for kickoff workshops or key presentations, so decisions are made with everyone in the room.

FAQ · Rabat

Good questions. Straight answers.

Do you meet clients in Rabat?+

Yes, when the project requires it. I’m based in Casablanca and work remotely by video for most of the project, and I can travel to Rabat for workshops, stakeholder presentations or validation meetings.

Can the site be in Arabic, French and English?+

Yes. I build sites in Arabic, French and English, with a properly mirrored right-to-left layout for Arabic. Each version is written to read naturally, which matters for institutions addressing several audiences.

Can you adapt to our approval process?+

Yes. Projects are organised in clear stages, with a written scope, review milestones and shareable previews, so each step can be validated by the right people before moving on. Pricing is scoped individually after a short brief.
